End the Mozambique debt scandal

After six years of campaigning, the UK Financial Conduct Authority has finally fined the London branch of Credit Suisse for their role in the Mozambique secret loans scandal – a crisis which has pushed an estimated 2 million people into poverty.

But rather than going back to the Mozambican people, the fine, of £147 million, is being kept in the UK.

This is not right.

Will you write to Rishi Sunak and call on him to use the proceeds the UK Treasury will receive from the Credit Suisse fine to help the victims of their actions: ordinary people in Mozambique?

Call on Rishi Sunak to make sure the money goes to support the people of Mozambique.
