Job vacancy – Digital Campaigner

Job Title: Digital Campaigner (Permanent, full-time)

Location: London

Salary: £33,641 (includes London weighting)

Deadline for applications: Monday 13 July, 9am

Jubilee Debt Campaign is recruiting a Digital Campaigner to lead our digital campaigning and communications work.

This is a key role in the organisation and crucial to the success of our campaigns. You’d be joining at a time when debt is gaining in prominence as an issue, and it’s crucial we campaign for a just response in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis.

Working across all of our campaigns, from the global south debt crisis to the UK’s growing household debt trap, you’ll be writing accessible, punchy and inspiring copy; overseeing our social media channels; building webpages, actions and emails; commissioning on and offline communications products; and ensuring we have the digital systems in place to recruit, engage and retain supporters and measure impact. This is a big job in a small but highly effective and growing team.

We’re looking for someone with a background in digital organising, who has a range of experience and a passion for social justice. This is a broad role, with a lot of scope to develop different projects and campaigns. We’re not expecting you to be expert in everything, but you’ll need the skills and experience to produce engaging content and to champion digital engagement within the organisation. This is a great time to join and a fantastic role for a skilled digital campaigner.

We strongly value diversity and welcome applications from applicants from all backgrounds. We particularly encourage applications from people with a Black, Asian or minority ethnic (BAME) background.

The deadline for applications is 9am on Monday 13 July. Interviews will be on Tuesday 28 July.
